Dear Members,
The Board of Directors has received a petition from five members, constituting 5% of the membership, asking the Board to conduct a vote on the question of whether to recall the entire Board and on a CC&R amendment to allow members to vote on carrying earthquake insurance.
Ballots on these matters will be mailed to all members on or before February 4, 2008.
A reminder that we've scheduled a special Informational Meeting to discuss the two proposed special assessments -- the first, to offset 2007 budget shortfalls and an increase in 2008 regular assessments; the second, to pay for critical deck repairs. The Informational Meeting will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2007 beginning at 7:00 PM in the San Mateo City Hall Council Chambers, 330 W 20th Avenue, San Mateo, CA 94403. For your convenience, a map is printed on the reverse of this letter. All members are encouraged to attend, bring questions, and learn more.
The next regular business meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2008, at 7:00PM, at 3 Waters Park Drive, 2nd Floor Conference Room, San Mateo, CA 94403. An agenda for the meeting will be posted in the common area. All members are welcome to attend.
