“Lois Frances Posner did willfully and unlawfully take, steal, and carry away certain personal property of Montgomery Ward, San Mateo, California, having a value not exceeding $400, in violation of Penal Code Section 484, a misdemeanor.”
Moxi Posner was convicted of stealing from Montgomery Ward in San Mateo. She pleased "nolo contendre" (guilty) and was sentenced to court probation for 3 years, on the condition of serving five (5) days in county jail (1 day credit of time served), Sheriff's Work Program recommended.
