Re: Vote for Proposed CC&R and By-Law Amendment

Enclosed you will find information brought by a petition of homeowners to amend the
Edgewater Isle Master Association's CC&R's and By-Laws. This information pertains to
how the Senior Apartment Center may vote in a Board of Directors election or on removals
of the North or South Homeowner Association representatives to the Edgewater Isle Master
Association Board of Directors. You are being asked to vote on these amendment changes.
Also enclosed are statements from the authors of this petition as well as a statement from the
Senior Apartment Center, a ballot to cast your vote on the petition, one white envelope
marked "Secret Ballot", and one pre-addressed envelope.


BALLOTING INSTRUCTIONS - (PLEASE FOLLOW CAREFULLY)

Please follow these directions carefully to ensure the validity of your ballot.

1. Complete the ballot.

2. Place the completed ballot in the "Secret Ballot" white envelope which then must be
sealed. DO NOT PRINT OR WRITE YOUR NAME OR ADDRESS ON THE
BALLOT, and do not write or mark on the Secret Ballot envelope.

3. Place the sealed Secret Ballot envelope inside the pre-addressed envelope and seal
that envelope.

4. At the top left hand corner of the pre-addressed envelope, you willfind a printed
return address label with your name and address on it. You must sign and date this
label underneath your name and address.

5. Mail the envelope back to the Inspector of Elections as addressed.

6. Completed ballots must be received by the Inspector of Elections no later than 2:00
pm on Fridav, May I, 2009.

In order for these amendments to pass, they will require an approval of sixty-six and two-thirds
percent (66 2/3%), or 278 approvals, of the owners of the Association.
There will be a Open Meeting to open and tally the votes held on Friday, May 1, 2009 at
2:00 p.m. at the Foster City Recreation Center, Mist Room. Notices will be posted prior to
this meeting.
